BARK BEETLES:

Our mountain community is in the midst of a crisis. Bark beetle infestation is desimating our forest population and is creating a nightmare for property owners. Click here for a *pdf file with information about the problem and what can be done.

For more detailed Forestry Information click here.

LEAFROLLERS:

Leafrollers are nasty pests that create web-like tents over our oak trees. These worms can defoliate an entire oak tree in one season. When treated at the right time of year an oak tree can be protected from the worms. Click here for a *pdf file with information about the problem and what can be done.
